2026 Farm & Rural Lobby Day in Madison
Join family farmers and rural advocates from across the state in advancing the policy priorities established by our grassroots membership. We know you care about the issues impacting our family farms and rural communities. Together, our voices can help elevate these rural issues. Farm and Rural Lobby Day is free and open to all members of Wisconsin Farmers Union. Regenerative Farming: Doudlah Farms
Demonstration, Workshop, and Farm Tour
Please join us for our upcoming chapter meeting and regenerative ag educational event in celebration of Earth Day. The day will be filled with great information, hands-on experiences, and chapter business.
Date: Saturday, April 25, 2:00-5:00pm (Rain date: April 26)
Location: Doudlah Farms, Evansville
Event: Doudlah Farms Organics will showcase their regenerative operation from field to finished products, including popcorn, beans, sunflower seeds, flour, and cornmeal. In addition, Brian Wickert will be on hand to discuss the benefits of Biodynamic Preps for your gardens and farms. Our chapter meeting segment will focus on WFU’s policy update. SCWFU Annual Meeting
Date: Saturday, September 26, 2:00-5:00pm (Rain date: September 27)
Location: Yellow Dog Produce & Flower Farm, Brooklyn
Event: Come join together for our chapter’s Annual Meeting, including a seed & equipment swap, woodfired homestead pizzas, potluck, Chapter Policy suggestions for WFU convention Special Orders of Business, and our board election. Bring your seeds and equipment to swap and come try John & Molly’s new pizza oven creations. Please bring a potluck salad or dessert to share.

WFU Climate Change Summit
Climate Change: How Rural Folks Can be Part of the Decision-Making Process.
Date: Tuesday, November 10, 6:00-8:00pm
Location: Blackhawk Technical College, Monroe
Event: The Wisconsin Farmers Union educational program focuses on Renewable Energy (wind, solar, biogas, etc), Community Benefit Plans & Agreements, and Data Centers, led by WFU director of Conservation and Stewardship, Tara Greiman. WFU is interested in spreading the word about ways rural folks can be a part of the decision-making process. The event is free and open to all.
